A HISTORY OF SERVING OUR COMMUNITY

I’m Steve Lodge I have lived and run a successful business in Tiverton for more than 20 years. I am well-known for bringing top stand-up comedy to Tiverton Community Arts Theatre – an organisation I love. I am a leading voice for small businesses across Mid Devon with the Federation of Small Businesses. With two autistic children, I am a champion for education and better SEND provision which focuses on the needs of each child.

I have always been active in addressing challenges head on. I am the Lib Dem spokesman for police and crime in Devon & Cornwall, and demand a tougher focus on crime especially in rural areas, and a visible police presence in our communities.”

THE LOCAL CHAMPION WITH A VISION

I became involved in the community because I saw areas where things could – and should – be better. I wanted to use my career and experience of fighting for SEND support to better represent people, to improve opportunities for children, and to give back to the place I am proud to call home.

Public service isn’t about titles or meetings – it’s about showing up, speaking out and getting things done. Tiverton, Bampton and our villages deserve strong leadership, clear vision and relentless commitment to making things better. That’s what I stand for.
